Each person on the production line enriches the brand with their expertise and shared love of beautiful, high-quality clothing. We are dedicated to fair pay, good working conditions and a slow fashion production principle.
Our supply line is simple, personal and transparent with every item handmade with love.

what we're about...
Genki is a love letter to patterns.
We find ourselves mesmerised by the patterns we discover on the recycled saris, we integrate them into every corner of our design, labels, tags and even our website.
This for us, embodies the ethos of the brand, cherishing our resources via the repurposing of beautiful textiles we already have in the world. Interwoven with the fabric, these patterns represent the environmental and human connections created, conversations sparked, and memories made.

Our founder, Camille Dawson, discovered her love for silk and vintage fabrics when she’d delve into her French grannies closet of vibrant wares as a child. She turned that love for textiles into becoming a designer, dedicated to creating clothing with that same feel-good factor she got when she first discovered the joys of beautiful material. In 2019 Camille formed connections with artisan tailors in Rajasthan, founded Genki Designs and has been consciously creating unique garments ever since.
